The hopone.net
network, with a truly national reach - spanning from New York through Virginia, Illinois and on to California and Washington state, is entirely Cisco 12000 series GSR based and uses the latest equipment in a fully redundant, fully meshed, network design. Optimal routing of packets is assured through intelligent human and proprietary technology assisted deployment of BGP: we are actively monitoring the performance of the Internet as a whole, as well as specific routes and backbones, and always ensure to provide the most optimal outgoing route. Being of a smaller scale than other comparable business models, and operating our own national network with multiple location peering with over two hundred major networks/backbones and ISPs, ensures that HopOne transit quality is higher, as there is less overhead and the routes are more direct (less hops) and thus more efficient -- and ultimately, faster and more reliable. In addition to being fully redundant hardware and circuit wise, the network is also fault tolerant in the sense that it is consistently kept at under 50% utilization, which means that it is able to sustain a doubling in traffic with no performance hit, and likewise is able to easily sustain multiple link outages, with no performance impact whatsoever.

:
The hopone.net network consists of a
hybrid of top-SLA major tier 1 transit links at various locations, as well as
numerous direct peering sessions with major National &
International networks, backbones, ISPs, cable and DSL providers.
More than half of the traffic exits from us directly to the destination peer
network, being completely transit-free, thus ensuring the most direct and
best performing route possible.
This "best-of-the-best" approach ensures the best
QoS possible for packet delivery via the Internet today.
The current tier 1 transit providers
are: Level 3, Global Crossing, ELI, and France Telecom OpenTransit.
The current peer list can not be disclosed
due to the confidentiality of peering, but, it includes
most of North America's major access providers (ISP/cable/DSL),
as well as many of the largest Asian and European backbones.
New peering sessions are established on a regular basis.

We offer two levels of service,
serving both enterprise / mission-critical business needs,
as well as consumer-lever lower-cost affordable bandwidth.
Premium Transit carries the same
industry-leading SLA as Value Transit, but provides for
double the SLA credits in the unlikely case it is not met.
All Premium Transit Clients' data traffic is marked as precedence 1 (priority) data, both upon entry and exit on our network, and thus will be always prioritized ahead of Value Transit Client traffic. Think of this as flying first class vs. economy: Premium Transit data will enter faster and leave sooner, while Value Transit data will follow that and still get to the same destination with low latency and no packet loss, just without preferential or priority treatment.
Premium Transit Clients also receive other benefits, such as Priority Support (all Premium Transit support requests are queued ahead of Value Transit ones), a dedicated Account Manager and a team of dedicated Network (and/or if applicable, Systems) Engineers providing personalized service, more routes over the world's major tier 1 premium networks, advanced High Availability systems options (for both bandwidth only and bandwidth + colo clients), and other such high-end services.
Value Transit, on the other hand, still exceeds the service level
provided by competitors and still carries the same industry-leading SLA. It just does
not include the advanced enterprise High Availability and Advanced, Priority options and services
that Premium Transit does.
Consequently, Premium Transit is most
appropriate for mission-criticial business and enterprise
applications and implementaions that require the highest performance, assured true 100%
uptime and priority service and support, and/or advanced High Availability
options, while Value Transit is best suited
for heavy volume high-traffic applications and/or for non-mission-critical-use
for those with a strained budget.
