Our current featured positions:

Account Manager / Outgoing Sales (McLean, VA or Seattle, WA)
The individual who will take this position will be initially spending the vast majority of time prospecting and building up his or her client base, and over time focussing more on account management (proactive outgoing sales, however, will always remain an integral part of this position). Prior experience in bandwidth, colo, telco, and/or hosting sales required, as is the ability to find prospective customers, and independently focus on active, outgoing sales.

BGP Engineer / Provisioner (McLean, VA or Seattle, WA)
Three or more years experience working with Cisco routers in advanced BGP configuration required. Provisioning experience and a logical, attention to detail, approach highly desireable. The person taking this position will work to provision and implement client circuits (liasing with telcos when so required), and work with clients and other network engineers to troubleshoot and resolve BGP problems. Work, both indepedently and cooperatively with others, to ensure trouble-free operation of our national network, working on planning, implementation of network upgrades (BGP and other routing protocols such as OSPF, router hardware, telco circuit matters, capacity planning and upgrades, disaster planning and implementation, etc.), and generally be a part of our network engineering team. Due to the nature of the position, working some weekends and evenings is a must. 

Dedicated Services Coordinator (McLean, VA or Seattle, WA)
This position involves dealing with all aspects of dedicated server service delivery and continuous customer care and recordkeeping. Dedicated server sales, server set-up coordination, dedicated server customer records, and basic server customer queries (doesn't include in-depth technical support). The individual to take this position must be well familiar with the Internet and dedicated hosting in particular (technical and conceptual), know the (dis)advantages and practical uses of each major OS (Solaris, Linux, FreeBSD, and Windows) and associated software, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be a meticulous recordkeeper, and be able to learn new concepts quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will also have HTML and general site and/or server operation skills.

Systems Support (McLean, VA or Seattle, WA)
This position involves monitoring and troubleshooting Unix, Linux, BSD and NT servers and network (and escalating as and if required) at night time and on weekends. This is an entry-level position with instruction provided, with advancement to systems administration offered. The individual who takes this position must have some previous systems administration experience with Unix/Linux and/or Windows NT, good understanding of Internet server software and daemons, and the ability and the wish to learn new technical concepts quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will also be well familiar with HTML and web-site operation. A broad Internet and computing knowledge base is a notable plus.  This position is available both as part time as well as full time (with advancement to Systems Administration planned).

Unix Administrator / Architect (McLean, VA or Seattle, WA)
The candidate must have strong communication/mentoring skills and be intricately familiar with the web hosting industry.  The Unix Systems Administratior will be involved in the architecture, implementation, and support of both shared and dedicated hosting services including web, email, dns, monitoring, and others.  The ideal candidate will have experience managing services in the web hosting industry along with an understanding of the future technologies that will be required to remain competitive in the industry.
•5+ years experience with Linux, Free BSD
•3+ years in large shared production environments
•Solid experience and strong ability to work with PC-based hardware
•Experience administering MySQL and MS SQL Databases
•Expertise with Apache setup and configuration with PHP, performance tuning and log file management
•Solid Perl or Bash shell scripting ability
•Experience with using virtualization in a production environment (Xen)
•Experience building highly available web hosting architectures including data replication and failover
•Direct experience with high volume email architectures including replication and disaster recovery
•Ability to travel as needed
