DCA2 was originally constructed for the US military and NSA to house critical data. Designed to be safe from physical attacks, DCA2 is located in a natural disaster-free zone protected against floods, tornadoes, and earthquakes. Since a large portion of the world’s internet passes through Northern Virginia, this central location ensures optimal connectivity, speed, and routing, minimizing the number of hops.
